Sashi made all the ground arrangements for our Okavango/Chobe/Vic Falls trip in late Sept/early October, with efficiency, precision and conscientiousness.  Nothing fazes her. My flight to Jo’berg got messed up which made me arrive in Maun an hour later than my travelling partner.  Absolutely no issues with ‘meet, greet and transport’ -  all of that went so smoothly, including three lovely internal flights in bush aircraft. There was someone waiting for us at every point.  We felt perfectly safe in her capable hands

She obviously has personal experience and/or contact with the Lodges/hotels she recommends and reserved for us.  When the preferred hotel said they could give us only two nights and we needed three, because our return flights were already booked, she calmly found us a lovely alternate hotel for our last night, along the same stretch of river.  All this, still in the high season for the area.

Thank you, Mikaya Travels, for making our family trip to Botswana, Zimbabwe and South Africa a memorable experience. You not only planned the entire itinerary but also went over & above by chasing us up to ensure visa requirements & air travel to and from countries were finalised. You also helped in securing the 4WD vehicle, which was hard to find during peak period as well as our bookings in SA. We travelled over 4000 km, across 3 countries & many game parks, including transfers closer to the wet season, which required attention to detail. I must say you didn't skip a beat. The game parks you picked for us, including the experiences, were stunning. Sable Alley was out of this world & the others were not too far behind. Your personal experiences with all the places we stayed at & being able to introduce staff on a first name basis including mentioning names of chef's who worked there for the last so many years just gave it that personal touch that I don't think one will find anywhere else.
